Ferticell Universal is a highly concentrated solution of algae extract. Unlike kelp or seaweed products, Ferticell Universal utilizes unicellular algae, which is cultured in fresh water to reduce the salt content of the product. Ferticell Universal is taken up by the plant via the leaf or root system through the stoma. Once inside the plant cell structure, the nutrient enriched algae cells attach themselves to individual plant cells, and the nutrients are transferred from the alga cell to the plant cell in a balanced form. This process is known as Inter-Cellular Exchange (I.C.E. Technology). Ferticell Universal’s algae cells which have not been utilized by the roots will remain in the soil and used as a food source by beneficial soil microbes, greatly increasing the number of soil microorganisms in the root zone. The algae cells also break down locked up minerals in the soil while processing chemical
forms of the nutrients so that they are assimilated into the plant more efficiently.

WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY:
Ferticell performs its best when applied as a root dip using a diluted solution just prior to planting. A continuous application during the crop cycle will assure maximum performance. Ferticell Universal performs to its maximum when applied at low rates more frequently rather than high rates less frequently. Ferticell Universal can be applied simultaneously with most fertilizer, pesticide, or herbicide spray applications to reduce application costs. Ferticell Universal should not be applied to any solution (concentrated or diluted) which has a pH less than 3.

or early evening for maximum effectiveness. When applying through
